The Møller Centre is excited to announce that we are now working with CleanConscience™ as a Soap Box Partner, to add to our sustainability efforts.
The Molton Brown toiletries within the bedrooms, which are left partly used and left behind, are recycled along with the plastic bottles themselves.
The products get extracted and put into unbranded pots to be used in developing nations or taken to foodbanks in the UK. Additionally, CleanConscience™ creates work and volunteering opportunities for those on the margins of society, meaning they have a chance to thrive and the opportunity of a sustainable source of income.
Tracey Burt, Front of House Manager, at the Møller Centre explains, “by being part of the CleanConscience™ mission, we are helping to hit 14 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which is amazing. I have been really excited about this partnership because I feel strongly about doing more with our unused luxury products and my team want to support those in need. There is significant value in what CleanConscience™ do and we are proud to be supporting their mission.”
This initiative directly links to the Møller Centre Environmental Objectives 2017-2018, as part of the ISO 14001. The new objectives are to be confirmed by the Senior Management Team and will include targets relevant to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
