We are delighted to announce the Møller Institute has been awarded Gold status in the IACC Green Star Certification programme, the only venue in Cambridgeshire with this status.

The International Association of Conference Centres has a rigorous Code of Sustainability which includes 60 tenets in the following areas:

  • Education, Awareness and Public Declaration
  • Waste Management
  • Recycling
  • Reuse
  • Water Conservation
  • Purchasing
  • Energy Management
  • Air Quality
  • Food & Beverage

IACC monitors and updates the Code periodically in order to ensure that it reflects state-of-the-art best practices. The Møller Institute recently underwent the assessment and has been awarded Gold status after adopting these environmentally responsible practices into business operations.

Møller Institute Operations Manager Mark Campbell says “We are honoured to be awarded Gold status in the IACC Green Star programme. This international standard has supported us to develop and measure our commitment to sustainability, we have a obligation to reduce our carbon footprint and the impact on the environment, it’s great to be recognised for this.

As a member of IACC we have a responsibility to educate others on the importance of sustainability. We are very proud of our Gold award and this is testament to all members of the Møller team and our valued clients, who have enthusiastically supported us on this journey.”
