“Where do I start? Last week will certainly go down in history! Everything you promised me was not only delivered but exceeded expectations. You not only have a fabulous and unique venue with excellent accommodation and superb food but your staff are world-class customer service ambassadors. Everyone we met from when we arrived on Sunday to when we left on Friday has been welcoming, polite, courteous, helpful and gone the extra mile to ensure we had a great customer experience which we have been not only delighted to have received but also appreciated the attention to detail. 

With this in mind, I would like to mention the following staff by name, although I know there were many more:

– Jenny and Pamela on the reception desk on Sunday afternoon set the tone for the week – they were welcoming and smiley and took the trouble to call me and let me know when my VIPs and delegates were arriving.

– Chef Liam who went out of his way to make sure Carol’s particular dietary requirements were met and communicated with her directly.

– Your IT guys’ expertise including Pete for making everything work brilliantly and Mark who was an hour late leaving one afternoon for a personal event because he was helping us.

– Simon, Lewis, Jason and Mark for all their help and support.

– Andrew and Alex were just amazing and I am really grateful for everything they did to pre-empt our every request, sorting out presentations when IT was not available, moving luggage, constant cups of tea and cappuccinos, sorting out taxis, welcoming guests, sorting out Maltesers, straws, shopping, chairs, one dining table for our last night, putting up decorations and balloons – the two of them made everything happen. Nothing was impossible and they did everything with smiles on their faces. They lead by example, are worth their weight in gold and are such fantastic front of house ambassadors.

Last but not least, thank you Bonnie for making it possible for us to hold our event with you and to Kelly for all your patience, efficiency and understanding of our requirements. Thank you also to people like Stefan and Mark from the Academy for coming to introduce themselves (and Mark particularly for taking my luggage on Friday afternoon). It was also much appreciated that Stuart and Gillian came to introduce themselves.
